16. Dali’s Theater-Museum in Figueres and Girona
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer to Figueres. Afternoon visit to Girona
including the Jewish Quarter and the Cathedral. Night in Barcelona.
October 17. Gaudi's Barcelona
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the Sagrada Familia, Gaudi’s unfinished
masterpiece. Afterwards, continue to Park Guell, and finish going to Casa
Battlo and La Pedrera. Evening transfer via AVE to Madrid. Night in Madrid.
October 18. Madrid City Tour and the Reina Sofia.
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit to the Reina Sofia museum. Day tour of Madrid
city center. Night in Madrid.
October 19. Madrid Museum Day
Breakfast at hotel. Madrid at leisure to visit the famous Golden Triangle
of Madrid’s other two most famous museums: El Prado and the Thyssen-Bornemisza.
Night in Madrid.
October 20. Toledo Day Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Day trip to Toledo, the famous walled city, including
visits to the Cathedral, Cristo de la Luz Mosque, El Greco’s house and
the old Jewish Quarter. Night in Madrid.
October 21. Cordoba and Seville - into the heart of
Spain
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Seville. Along the way stop at Cordoba for
a visit to the Mezquita and old city. Continue to Seville. Night in Seville.
October 22. Seville City Tour
Breakfast at hotel. Morning tour in Seville city center, including the Santa
Maria district, the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world (and home to Christopher
Columbus’ tomb), and the Moorish palaces. Afternoon transfer to Granada
with private driver/guide. Night in Granada.
October 23. The Alhambra - Moorish Majesty
Breakfast at hotel. Visit to the Alhambra, crown jewel of the Moorish empire
in Spain. Night in Granada.
October 24. Granada City city and one last look at Spain
Breakfast at hotel. Morning walking tour of Granada city center, including
the Royal Chapel old Moorish silk market, and the Albaicin district. Evening
farewell dinner. Night in Granada.
October 25. Return to the States
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Granada airport for return flight to the USA.
